We were visiting from Houston where they have a location I visited about 10 years ago. My young son wanted the opportunity to race, and I have to say that they treated him VERY WELL at this location! We were really happy with the service! My son had never driven a go-kart by himself, so he was nervous, but the employees were fantastic with him. They encouraged him and explained the safety features and assured him that he could do this. What a great experience! Thank you guys!
Very frustrating experience. I can’t fix my son’s particular height - he is over 48” in height but his legs are shorter than his torso so he wasn’t able to drive…not being able to test that until my kid is actually in the car is heartbreaking so while the height says 48”, probably best to be over 50” to avoid issues. The consolation prize was nearly equally frustrating because a majority of the games are broken and out of order. Would probably go when he’s much taller.
This visit was for a birthday celebration for a family member, mostly adults , with 1 young kid. The wait time for no reservation was 2 hours. Never been here before and had to fill out the basic " we absolve them from any risks including death" type release on the computer. For step 2 , head to the cashier to then charge you $8.50 for a "license" and about $40 for 2 races. The reason there is such a wait time is that you can group people and also have back to back races , which is better than getting cold for another wait period. It was fun on the track, and it feels fast. Bumping or crashing can slow down the entire 12 cars. Im not sure how busy it gets but the place doesn't seem to have much seating to house all the people waiting. It would also be nicer to have lockers to secure personal items instead of Open plastic bins contains your wallet phone and keys. Another downside to this place is that they serve beer but have signs and wrist bands that tell you NOT to drink. Well with a 2 hr wait, what else to do? The results are on the board but you can barely see them for a few seconds before it changes. You have to get a print out or look at the email on file for the results.
I really love going to this place. It is a very competitive atmosphere for a lot of friends. And I my wife and I enjoy racing each other here, we've been here multiple times the management is very nice, and the people at the front desk are very warm with greeting us.
