HOW WE WORK

EDITORIAL POLICY

Go Karting USA is a directory first: its job is to be accurate, not to sell you a venue. These are the rules our content follows, including where AI is used and how advertising is kept away from editorial decisions.

PRINCIPLES

THE RULES WE FOLLOW

Every claim has a source

Venue facts — hours, prices, kart types, age limits — are tied to a named source: the Google Places record or the venue’s own website. If we can’t source a claim, we don’t publish it.

Reviews are never edited

Visitor reviews and star ratings shown on track pages come from Google. We don’t write, edit, filter or reorder them, and we don’t accept payment to remove one.

AI-assisted, human-reviewed

Venue descriptions and area guides are drafted with AI assistance from structured, sourced venue data, then reviewed before publication. Factual claims are checked against the underlying data, and stale copy is rewritten when the data changes.

Paid never buys ranking

Track owners can claim a listing free, or pay for a Featured placement that appears in clearly-bounded showcase slots. Payment never changes a venue’s rating, its reviews, or its position in state, city and category listings, which are ranked from data alone.

DISCLOSURE

HOW THE SITE MAKES MONEY

The directory is free to use and funded two ways: display advertising served by Google AdSense, and optional paid Featured placements purchased by track owners. Neither advertisers nor Featured venues get any say in editorial content, ratings shown, or how listings are ranked.

We don't accept payment for reviews, for altering venue descriptions, or for removing accurate information. If a venue closes, its page says so — Featured or not.

Corrections: if anything we publish is wrong, email contact@gokartingusa.com. Verified corrections are applied within days, and material errors are corrected on the page rather than silently deleted. See How We Verify Data for where every field on a track page comes from.
