Took my son on a school day. Yes he skipped for his 15th birthday. 🤦🏻♀️ The place was empty except for a company event that was going on in a private room. Other than that there was no wait time. My son had a blast but he did say it hurts your wrist trying to control the steering wheel. Oh and the race time is about 12 laps. So it is a good amount of time driving.
We were in town did a Santa trip and had a blast leaving Kalahari to race! To get to the first lap seemed to take forever, but we must have arrived for the Junior laps right when the other group was going. After that first lap though, we raced pretty quickly for our other to races. The boys actually said they liked it better than Andretti’s!
A great team outing experience overall! Staff were very friendly and the karts were quick. I’m always worried they’re slow or made for kids but you can feel the rush here. Team outing package with food and drink was great value, highly recommend for team bonding.
really fun place. just ONE thing. the people who work on the track seem like they really don't love their job. my experience at night was pretty mid. no flags waved when cars would crash into eachother. also, that's another thing, people crashing into one another is a huge problem here. on my birthday I came with my dad to have some fun right? we'll at the end of the race going back into the "pits" a girl was going waaay too fast and hit the bsck of my dad kart? seemed like it was intentional to me. every since, he's had a neck and back pain but slowly recovering from it. thats really all I jave to say about this. also, there is some good workers, and karts. it's really based on what time you go.
