We had a great experience celebrating the end of season with my son’s lacrosse teammates. They were able to come in on a Thursday afternoon and get right on the track. We did have a minor issue with some other guests of the track, but the manager worked it out and made sure our guys had an excellent experience and fun races.
this is the second time ive come. 8 got the Wednesday promo so it wasn't super expensive. they are really big on safety and ensure all the drivers follow the rules. Adam was our flagger and he was great he is really good with people and he is good at his job. great experience!👌
Never again, for several reasons! 1. My s/o got a birthday 'coupon' that was only good for one week(most places give you the ENTIRE month of your birthday) but I guess you better hurry up and use it or lose it. 2. We walked in and there are staff members just standing around, I'm confused as I've never been here before, nobody tells me what to do(my s/o hadn't been there in a while, so he didn't know either because companies change rules/regs all the time). 3. I registered, and my s/o had to re-register because the system couldn't find him, when it's weird that it sent him an email with a USELESS coupon attached. After registering someone FINALLY wanders over and helps us. We go through all the rigamarole and get everything set, $120+ later for 2 races for 2 people. I wasn't expecting it to be "cheap" but I wasn't expecting $120+ either. 4. We finally got to race(ONCE) after they had to find my name(because it's SO common that it's hard to find🙄). After the first race, we were thirsty so we walk up to the bar, the young lady is taking some else's order so we wait. We just wanted 2 bottled sodas(total of $9, btw) but she never acknowledged us, she looked our way SEVERAL times and never said a word to us. After she got the other person's order started she FINALLY wanders from the back and starts helping the people who came in AFTER US, like we hadn't been standing AT THE DAMNED CASH REGISTER for 7-10 minutes already!! It's cool, we finished our final race, I was tempted to go to the arcade, but we'd given these people enough of our time, money and attention. We left, went to the QT across the street, got 2 LARGE drinks, a quesadilla and 2 candy bars for $16(much better deal, IMO). It was my first time and my last time at a K1, especially this one, it's like it's ran FOR teenagers BY teenagers! Also, their ladies room was disgusting, toilet paper all over the floor, and the counters were dirty as well. Yikes!
Amazing Experience at K1 Speed! K1 Speed was an absolute blast from start to finish. The staff was professional, friendly, and made sure everyone understood the rules and felt safe before hitting the track. Check-in was smooth, the facility was clean, and everything felt well-organized. The karts are fast and responsive, and the track layout keeps things exciting the entire race. Whether you’re competitive or just racing for fun, it’s a great adrenaline rush. The lap timing system is a nice touch and really brings out the racer in you.
