First race was fine was able to go full speed no problems. But when we did our second race the kart kept dying on me and stopping, ruining the experience of the fast paced race, especially for the price not worth it. Staff didn’t care it died or offer to let me go another lap at least. Just a shame the staff and karts ruined the experience. First and last time going here 🤦🏽♂️👎🏽. It clearly said low battery for the manager to say it was lowered for safety reasons when we were legit the only people there is crazy. Don’t waste your money here
Great place. Nice tracks. Good workers. Also way cheaper than places I’ve been. And they got a sick arcade so best one I’ve seen so far.
Atrociously dangerous racing conditions due to electrical issues with the karts causing high speed collisions. The karts are a blast to race when working properly but I would NOT be visiting this location until K1 will publicly announce how they are properly remedying karts shutting off, braking immediately, causing collisions. I visited this location last weekend with a group of friends who are genuinely into racing, and karts would often randomly shut off. Either due to an electrical issue or software communication issue between karts and the race manager who can control the speed of karts at his will. This shut off happened during the highest speed straight causing an injury inducing collision right before the braking zone of turn 1. I repeat, DO NOT visit this location and sign away your rights to safety until they publicly address this issue. K1 Speed is a huge company and do not care about your safety or the proper working condition of their equipment. The general manager at our location was barely able to issue us a refund after an hour of phone calls trying to get corporate approval. They still refunded us 700$. Because karts shutting off is their safety issue, not your skill issue. Shout out to the manager of this location. He was completely helpless at this company and still did his best to help. There is no way I can give them a positive review regardless.
Fun place for a party, but working with their corporate office is a pain! The local team is great! Andrew, the on site manager was really helpful with supporting our 10 y/o’s party and ordering extra food from their external vendor. All parties, however, are planned through their groups sales office in California. This office doesn’t call back (I left multiple messages), and they screw up the time zones when placing food orders. Our order was supposed for 5pm EST, but the corporate office in CA placed it for 8pm (5pm Pacific), and this is apparently a commonly made mistake according to the pizza place. Luckily, Andrew caught it when we inquired the day before and we got our order on time. Also be warned that if you go above 8 racers your party will be split into two groups, and their unstated policy is to go up to 12, but you can ask them to waive that if you have above 8 but below 12. All in all everyone had a good time, but really be on top of the corporate team if you plan a party there.
