****PLEASE READ if you’re attending with children***** On Friday (7/25/26), my family and I visited this location while on vacation in Orlando before making the 15-hour drive back home. We wanted to give our five kids one last fun adventure, and they all chose this establishment. When we arrived, we were told our youngest child wouldn’t be able to race because the smaller track was down. We understood and kept him entertained in the arcade while our four daughters purchased two races. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill. The girls received little to no instruction or assistance getting ready to race. The employee working the track, a white male, appeared visibly frustrated and irritated from the beginning. Despite his negative attitude, my daughters tried to ignore it and enjoy themselves. During the race, one of my daughters accidentally hit the wall, causing the track to stop briefly so staff could reposition her kart. Instead of showing patience, another racer, a fully grown man, began making rude comments toward her. Once the race resumed, that same man intentionally rammed two of my daughters into the wall with enough force to damage the track and end the race early. Three of my four daughters got off the track crying from both the physical pain and the humiliation. The same man continued berating them, telling them they “didn’t know how to drive,” despite the fact that he intentionally hit them. He then exited the track yelling, slammed his helmet down, and demanded a refund. What happened next was the most alarming part of the entire experience. After leaving the track area, the situation escalated outside. This man went back inside, got another individual, and they chased our minivan while one of them was waving a pistol. As parents traveling with five children, this was absolutely terrifying. I am not someone who rushes to leave negative reviews over minor inconveniences, but I genuinely do not believe this is a safe or child-friendly environment. Based on the way this customer interacted with the staff, received free drinks, and appeared to be well known by employees, he seemed to be a regular. If that’s the type of behavior that’s tolerated, families deserve to know before bringing their children here. Thankfully, we made it home safely. However, because my daughters continued complaining of neck pain, I had them evaluated by a medical provider. Two of the four were diagnosed with whiplash. I also want to acknowledge the one employee who showed genuine concern. A Black male employee with short locs came over immediately to check on my daughters, walked us to the front, sincerely apologized, and processed our refund. He was compassionate and professional during an incredibly stressful situation. Unfortunately, the white female working the front desk appeared largely indifferent. I have a video clip from part of the incident and will be posting it as well, Google only accepts photos here. I sincerely hope management reviews their safety procedures, employee training, and how aggressive customers are handled before someone is seriously injured.
We chose this place to celebrate a VPK graduation, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, attentive, and made everyone feel welcome. The food was delicious, and the venue itself was clean, fun, and perfect for a family gathering. Everyone in our family had a fantastic time, especially the kids. They have a track designed for younger children, and they absolutely loved it, they felt unstoppable out there! It was wonderful seeing them having so much fun while the adults enjoyed the celebration as well. Highly recommend this place for family events, celebrations, or just a fun day out. We can’t wait to come back! 🎉🎓🏁
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What we thought would be a small VPK graduation celebration turned into an unforgettable full-day family event at K1 Speed! From the moment we arrived, Hector, the General Manager, went above and beyond to make our group feel special. We were a party of 25 people, including several little ones, and he made sure everyone felt like a VIP. The kids were absolutely thrilled and couldn’t stop talking about their experience. The energy and atmosphere were so exciting that even the adults, who originally came just to watch, ended up getting on the track and racing too! The entire family was engaged, entertained, and having a great time from start to finish. Exceptional customer service is hard to find, and Hector truly set the standard. His attention to detail, hospitality, and genuine care for our family made all the difference. We’re already planning our next family celebration here. I had an amazing experience at K1 Speed Orlando, especially with the new management team. My son had a minor accident while driving one of the karts, and what truly stood out to me was the level of care and attention we received afterward. As a parent, I wasn’t overly worried—my son plays baseball and is used to the occasional bump or bruise—but Hector went above and beyond in a way that genuinely meant a lot. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and compassionate. He checked on my son multiple times, offered ice right away, brought him ice packs, and even gave him ice cream to help him feel better. More importantly, he made both of us feel seen, heard, and cared for. That level of empathy is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of environment they’re creating. Hector turned what could have been a stressful moment into a positive and reassuring experience. Because of him and the team, we left feeling not only safe but truly valued as customers. Thank you for the exceptional service. We will definitely be back!
