Took my two adult sons for Father's Day. I was impressed by the safety conscious and friendly staff. You are strapped in tight and off you go. We did three races each and had a blast. It's a long course and is fast. Some drivers are very competitive. Only took about an hour to complete. We loved it and will go back.
Ok so these are definitely the fastest cart I’ve ever driven. The track is legit. We came here for a birthday party. They have the birthday boy a free lap! The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. I will ask that you consider putting a bell at the front counter for people that have already paid but have race scheduling issues. Maybe this doesn’t happen much but consider this scenario we went through. Our whole party except for the birthday boy was scheduled to race. I told the track attendant who told me to go see the cashier. I went to the counter in a hurry because the racers were loading up. When I got to the counter she asked me to wait because there were 2 groups signing up. I quickly said there’s a problem with one of our party not showing up to race. She said ok hold on and then called the first group to the counter and helped them. All the while the guys are saying cmon! Let’s go! What are you doing?! She told me to wait so I did. They loaded up. After she finished with the first group she looked up and said who’s next? I raised my hand and said please miss could you just throw the missing driver on the race. Oh yeah! Ok. It took a couple minutes and I ran out there. A different race attendant was there and we had some words as to why I was late and I was holding up the racers. All I’m asking is that you have a faster way for people that have already paid to race but just need some quick help from the staff to keep it functioning properly. A sign and a bell that says ring here for help after you’ve paid if you need scheduling help. That’s my 2 cents. We’ll be back. Great place and fun times.
What a blast! The cars are in great shape. Pretty quick machines too! >40MPH! I’m 6’2” and 245lbs and for the cart pretty well. The double carts are more expensive but a great way to get little people out. There is a MINIMUM HEIGHT, not just age of 4.5, as the company’s website says. Call to ask height first so you don’t break little hearts. Hopefully since I’ve let the staff know of the discrepancy they’ll update the site. My nearly 5 year old (just tall enough) and 7 year old daughters had a great time. And the boys 11 were in heaven. The all w my home and watched NASCAR lol. Good safety gear! Youth/small helmets fit well and the kids felt comfortable and it seemed quite safe. Speaking of safety, the crew/team did a good job of briefing safety and they constantly had had eyes on the track and monitored safe driving, with cautions as needed. Their team communication seemed great, and they seemed particular about safety rules. This is not lame touristy helmetless go-carts. This is the real stuff and there’s obviously a following of private hobbyists. Before we came there was a 4 hour enduro race!! I was tired after 30 minutes. I’d say the sweet spot for a fun time is about 3 x 10 min races with a few minutes between. Enough to get the feel of it and squeeze the adventure into the day.
I’m from Virginia and was visiting Florida to go to Disneyland. I’ve always loved riding recreational go karts but always wanted to drive faster karts. I found this place and didn’t know what to expect, but let me tell you, it was awesome. When I saw the pros on the track driving their karts it was so awesome to see how fast they were going and how perfectly they were able to maneuver the turns and brake when needed. I was so excited for my turn. Before we went, we were given a face mask at the front desk. Then they gave us a safety briefing, showed us the map and route then we selected a helmet that fit us. After that we were assigned a kart number and then we got into our karts. Due to me being a smaller framed individual I can’t always reach the pedals so I wasn’t sure if the seat and pedals were adjustable but they were I. I was able to perfectly reach the pedals with no issues. The karts went 45 mph plus much faster than the karts I have driven in Virginia, and they were also ten minute races which is longer than any other go kart track races that I have done. Despite spinning out a few times during all three laps (was nothing serious just user error me giving too much gas and not braking enough on turns etc) the three ten minute races were well worth it. I had so much fun and it’s a shame I don’t live in Florida because If I did I would be taking classes here. The staff were super friendly and I would definitely recommend going here if you want to up your game on go karts and ride some faster ones.
