This place is LEGIT awesome! This was My first time going to K1 Speed for an event and it was super cool but when you do the racing on the race track it’s intense. For me, I got a little anxious when waiting to go racing on the track because there was another group racing, but it was definitely worth it. The staff at this place are generally nice but the track staff can be a little bit firm and have an attitude when giving direct instructions. Overall don’t let the staff get to you, just enjoy the experience and the exhilarating thrill you will experience. Strongly recommend this place if you’re looking for something exciting and EPIC!
Great front line staff, extremely attentive racing crew staff and facility was really nice. Gotta say, flag waving personnel were the best I’ve seen all over the country!! And when there was a wreck the track workers were all over it checking for injuries. Karts were in good shape too. We did attend league night, wasn’t a big fan on how they keep power levels at 60% for half the race and a 1/3 of qualifying but I guess it works for them. I was kind of confused why they didn’t reset to running order when someone gets spun out during league racing, instead they just point everyone in the right direction and turn the karts back on. But it was a great learning experience!
Love indoor carting!! Sometimes you can time your driving when its not a busy time in order to get good practice in. Their price went up, I assume due to everyone looking for some excitement in the cold winter months. They do have a special one day a week as well. And they have laser tag too! Definitely something for everyone at the Apex center for sure. Even has planet fitness as well as many great restaurants even in walking distance.
Lots of fun and priced in line with similar establishments. Beer is crazy. $7.25 to $8.50 for a 12oz bottle. Food prices seemed typical. You do have to wait a bit between races so when they say 15 minutes, it was more like 40 for us.
