Schaumburg anchors Chicago's northwest suburbs, a retail and office hub where the Andretti chain planted its first Illinois location. The formula is the one Andretti runs nationwide: electric karts on an indoor circuit, backed by an arcade, virtual reality, and enough non-racing attractions to keep mixed groups busy for an afternoon. The karts have real pace once the system trusts you, and the indoor setting means January in Chicagoland is no obstacle. Families and corporate groups make up much of the traffic, and the venue is built to absorb them without the track turning into bumper cars. For city residents it's a straightforward drive out I-90, and for suburban families it fills the gap Chicago's kart-light metro has had for years.
An all around pleasant experience. Kids loved karts and games. Need to return to explore 7D laser tag, virtual reality, and bowling. The wings were delicious: crispy and buffalo heat balanced with sweetness. The shake was smaller than expected, but delicious. Coffee was okay. Freezing in the building, likely due to the fact we were there in the afternoon and not terribly crowded. Full bar available at restaurant and sky bar for race spectators. Employees were largely kind and knowledgeable, especially the hard working folks at the karts. Be prepared to spend a good amount for entertainment venu as per usual. It is impressive. Free parking.
This place is amazing. My boys had such a blast ! Driving racecars on an ausome track, Lazer Tag, games, and so much more also the food is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful . I highly recommend and will be going back soon and often.
We visited this place on Sunday. Overall, it feels more suitable for teenagers — I expected something a bit more geared toward adults. The most exciting part was the 7D theater, especially the clown game. In general, the staff and the place itself are great. Prices are fairly reasonable. We ordered a taco platter — it was really tasty and went perfectly with beer. We didn’t try the go-karts because the line was very long. The restrooms are clean, and the men’s stalls have large partitions, which is a big plus. However, one sink was broken, which is a bit surprising for a newly opened place.
I stopped in for supper after attending a conference next door, and I’m so glad I did. The food was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations. The service was great, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!
