Tons of fun! It's pricey but the 2 session package seemed worth it to me. I'd never drove a gas go kart, and it was very cool to experience. Definitely would have appreciate a bit more thorough of a operation/safety briefing though
The actual racing part was fun and I enjoyed but unfortunately the people that were working were so incredibly rude. It was me and one other person as a group the tall black young male was nice during check in but got upset that we were waiting on someone that was running late who was currently checking in. While waiting for the race to actually start the short black woman with glasses had given attitude because I asked why we were waiting which we had been for close to 7 minutes. On the second race someone crashed and I pressed on the breaks but it did not stop I chose to go into the ties I then got reprimanded by the middle aged white man working that day for not being able to use the breaks. When I notified him that I pressed hard and they did not work I was told that it doesn’t work like a car and I needed to press harder. I kept my mouth shut because we came here to have fun and we were treated inappropriately for the manner that we were behaving in. The track and the racing part was fun but would not recommend coming if those three staff are on shift they ruined the entire experience for me and my husband.
We had a wonderful time at ProKart Maple Grove this past weekend for a birthday party. We booked a private event that was very easy. The staff was very accommodating and nice to our 13-16 year old group of drivers. Gabriel was very attentive, kept us informed about what our package included, and made sure that the kids had fun. The race team made sure that the kids were safe and ok. We will be returning again and highly recommend!
