First time here as an experienced racer passing through Tampa. What a beautiful kart track with such good racing. From a purely racing standpoint, this track feels nearly perfectly designed for the rentals that drive the track while still providing potential for faster and more nimble owner karting. The curbing and general surface is very good and consistent to drive on. The motocross use is also very cool, and the dirt track next door is super fun to watch! The presence of a plethora of organized rental karting races from multiple heat sprint races to 24 hour endurance races is very nice and creates a great environment for racers to improve and hone in their skills. The kart parody is fairly solid without much difference between karts, but some karts seem to be partially engine choked, which is bothersome owing to occasional engine sputtering on these specific karts. From a personal standpoint I had an excellent experience; me and a group of 3 were able to get a race each and additional races for myself as an experienced karter, and we enjoyed our races without much of a hitch. The flow of operations was fairly fast which helped with the Saturday crowd, and there was no wait for races. Having previous experience in karts significantly helped myself (and being able to help my group); guidance on driving the karts is quite minimal although speeches for safety are sufficient to keep yourself safe on the track. There was a safety video playing on loop inside, so I’m confused as to why you wouldn’t make this video a requirement for new racers to remove inconsistency in safety speeches. I feel there was still some information missing given to new drivers that could help them be safer on track, and while I have worked at a track before and understand things can be busy as well as the strict off-track policy (2 times off track = end of race) being helpful, there is room for improvement. Furthermore, I feel there was a lack of concern of active on-track safety for racers on the track. There seems to be a system of one or more members of staff at the pit lane with one member of staff going on a golf kart to the far side of the track. This covers visibility for most of the course, but does not provide visibility for some parts of the course, notably the underpass. There was a situation I observed where a racer spun out into the barriers under the bridge and was stuck (gas karts cannot reverse), and it took over 3 minutes until the session was checkered flagged until another racer had to get a staff members attention at the pit lane to be able to go help the stuck driver. Outside of the obvious safety hazard I’d be disappointed to have lost so much race time. I feel this could be easily fixed with just a CCTV camera under the bridge (or possibly more attention to timing systems, but this is difficult and more so a symptom of the problem). Additionally, a small group was present flying a drone at the track. I’m not concerned with the use of a drone on its own (because they talked with staff, I’d assume they were given permission), but their usage of the drone involved flying it under the pit structure as well as flying under the underpass, and actually crashing the drone into the bridge. Fortunately the drone landed off the track, but I would be very concerned for the drone to either land on the track, damage a kart, and or strike a person! Yes, drivers are wearing helmets, but there is significant injury risk that I feel could’ve easily been mitigated and exists for no reason. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area for more fun racing at this great facility, but I feel a little bit of care for the small things— especially safety— could help prevent possible issues in the future and provide a safer and more optimal experience for newer racers and the general public.

Bushnell Motorsports Park has the best flowing track in all of Florida that makes for some awesome racing! The variety of actual racing events they hold here that can be viewed on their website is what keeps me coming back. They hold endurance races from one hour all the way up to 24 hours. They host multiple season racing leagues if you're really serious about brushing up on your skills. Bushnell is great for beginners all the way to the best of the best with their well-maintained equipment and track. Their staff is always super professional and nice. It feels like a home away from home here. 10/10 would recommend for anyone to come out. You will certainly get your moneys worth and have memories to talk about forever.

One of the best proper outdoor kart tracks out there! Such a fun layout with fast, flowing and banked turns and the bridge adds a new section that's not many tracks have. Love to race here and met some many cool and chill people who help each other go quicker! The staff are really nice too and last time I went my kart ran out of fuel mid session and so they added a race back on my account to compensate!
