Gulf Shores draws families down the Alabama coast looking for sun and fun beyond the beach atmosphere. This indoor go-kart facility keeps everyone entertained when weather isn't cooperating, running electric karts in a climate-controlled space with modern equipment. Kids get their first genuine taste of actual racing speed here, while adults find enough competitive energy in the course to make participation truly worthwhile. It has that casual, welcoming vibe throughout, the kind of place where families rotate between racing and other local attractions without making an entire day of just one single activity. You'll find plenty of visitors heading to the beaches and state parks nearby, so expect a busy summery crowd from spring through fall. Location is convenient, well-maintained, and doesn't pretend to be more serious than it actually is. Staff keep things running smoothly even when groups roll through, which matters significantly during peak season.

I recently took my kids to The Track, and overall they were having an amazing time. They loved the go-karts and were so excited to head into the arcade afterward. My son is 7 and my daughter is 6 and like most happy kids at a family amusement park, they were skipping, jumping, and running because they were excited. As we were walking toward the arcade, an older employee near the boat area, wearing a green shirt, blew a whistle and yelled across the park at my children to stop running. There was no crowd around them, they weren’t running into anyone, and they weren’t creating a safety issue. They were simply being excited children at an outdoor family entertainment venue. I understand the importance of safety, but there is a respectful way to speak to children. Yelling at young kids from across the park and blowing a whistle at them was unnecessary and left a bad impression on our visit. Family attractions should be places where children can enjoy themselves, and employees should know how to address kids in a friendly and appropriate manner. My kids still enjoyed their day, but this interaction was disappointing and could have been handled much better. We have NEVER had this issue at the track in all the years we visit. Someone definitely needs to let him know that it no acceptable behavior.
So fun if you like go karts! The kids loved the arcade. Has a little mini golf area. Fed Koi fish too!
This place has fun for the whole family. Kids enjoy the go go carts the most! They got video games the bumper boats, and a new kid zone.
