Rented from these guys for as a birthday present. FULL SERVICE, DID NOT DISAPPOINT CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH We rented the rotax (125cc 2 stroke) karts. They don’t just have some clapped out leftovers, the kart I rented was actually raced no more than a month ago. Bailey does some top notch maintenance and these things were fully tuned up ready to rip. Bailey took his time to go over a couple places where I could pick up some speed and we talked about best ways to attack the track. Was able to shave almost 3 seconds off my time throughout the night. Never got any tips or hands on service at K1 or octane. To compare this experience to K1 or Octane or Andretti is a miss. This is a total different experience and fit for people looking to REALLY do some driving, not just a couple laps in a mini mall.
My experience with Bailey was excellent and he explained in great detail the different kart classes at PKRA and best ways to get started into racing. He was helpful in getting used to the Rotax kart and was an open book for any questions. I would highly suggest working with them if you like to go fast and have some experience already. I do wish there was a beginner rental program with the LO206 class for those just getting started.
