Williams sits south of Flagstaff on the route down to the Grand Canyon, and Grand Canyon Go-Karts positions itself for the visitor flow heading to one of America's greatest natural wonders. Petrol karts run outdoors in the high-altitude air, which changes how engines perform and adds an extra challenge for drivers used to sea-level racing. Around Williams, the scenery has that classic Route 66 character, and the kart track fits perfectly into that old-school Americana appeal. Being small enough to feel like a genuine stop rather than a tourist trap, the town and track both reflect an authentic attitude. Families break up the drive to the canyon with an hour of racing, kids get memories of an unusual pit stop, and the place gets business from thousands of people passing through annually. Winter closes the outdoor season early, but spring through fall keeps steady traffic moving through.

We have a large family (13) and we had decided to go Gokarting at GC go karts and we had so much fun. The staff was very kind to us even when we had a little bit of an issue in the beginning, which was just a miscommunication. They were really patient with us and maintained professionalism. We really appreciate them! my family had a blast! This is a wonderful place to take your friends and family. Williams is already a wonderful place to visit, but this is a must if you’re looking for some fun! I didn’t catch everyone’s names, but Hayden and Gino, yall are awesome! The whole staff was great! Thank you again for an amazing time, what a wonderful memory ♥️
We had so much fun! The staff was outstanding. Lovely lady with the most beautiful hair in the office. I took my grandson and his buddy! We sure had fun. Grandma even took a couple spins!
I would give a 5 star because the karts and track are amazing... we honestly had so much fun. But... the staff is incredibly rude. We felt like we were a bother the second we walked in. The front desk lady and the main guy outside seemed to have a problem with everyone. The other track members were very nice but those two ruined our experience and the experience of the other 2 familys there. Sad because we would have come back but it's not worth the way they made our family feel.
My family was excited to spend the day go-kart racing, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing from the very beginning. The cashier at the front desk was VERY rude and had a passive-aggressive attitude throughout our interaction. As first-time visitors, we were hoping for some guidance, but instead of being helpful and explaining the process, she seemed more interested in smirking and making us feel unwelcome. Things only got worse once we reached the track. One of the employees working the go-karts was extremely disrespectful and even referred to our children as “idiots,” which was completely unacceptable. The check-in and payment process took much longer than expected, and after we had already paid and waited in line, we were informed that one of our children would not be allowed to participate. Getting a refund then became another lengthy and frustrating process. I was genuinely looking forward to visiting this place, but the poor customer service and lack of professionalism made for an awful experience. We were not the only family expressing frustration that day, which suggests these issues may be more than an isolated incident. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed and would not recommend this establishment based on our experience.
