First time Karting at NCMP and it did not disappoint. Ran day 1 in the rain and day to in the sunshine and my son enjoyed the track both days. Plenty of parking with the gates, lots of porta potties and 2 full bathrooms. The grill is the best I've seen at a track so far! Fresh salad and sliced fruit and lots of kid favorites. Saw a few kids fushing at the small pond on property. Wish we'd have brought ours for the downtime. Not a lot of hotels real close but Anderson and Richmond both about 20-30 mins had an abundance as well as restaurants. Look forward to coming back.
By far the best go cart experience ive ever had. As some have said it’s probably best to call in ahead of time. We did and found out they were closing early due to a party coming. We informed them the time we would arrive to ensure we had enough time for an hour session. Sadly between the time we called and the time we arrived (which was exactly when we said we would) something changed and we only got two 20 min sessions. But after doing the two 20 min sessions we were more than happy with it. Three would wear you out if you’re competitive. The pricing was amazing. 65 for an hour is nothing compared to what other places charge for a 5 min ride. The value here is unheard of. I honestly think the only way this could have been better was a timing system so we could see how we did against other riders. I really enjoyed the raw bare bones feel of this place. Not like your typical 5 min slow carts and shutting you down every 30 seconds becsuse someone bumped too hard.
My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate my birthday by renting a couple karts (my idea). This was my first time ever karting and her first time at an actual track, not just some tourist trap in Florida. Overall, we had a great time, but it wasn't the best for beginners. The staff were nice, but never really gave us any guidance unless we explicitly asked, leaving us wondering what we were supposed to do a couple times as they disappeared. However, the biggest issue was that the website boasts, "We have karts with small seats, big seats, short pedals, long pedals, lots of combinations to fit just about anyone". My girlfriend is around the average height for a woman and could barely reach the pedals and wasn't able to go full tilt which took away a lot of the fun for her. They also didn't have gloves that fit us. Well, they did have gloves that fit me... with my fingers sticking out of a few of the holes. Just disappointing for the price. We were also on the smaller track, which we knew going into it, but I wouldn't really recommend it if it's your first time. It was very short and all tight turns. Not very fun for your first time. Again, there weren't really any problems with this place, I just probably wouldn't recommend it if you don't know what you're doing. We may still go back one day to get a taste of the main track.
I rented out the track for the day back in September of 2024. I've been meaning to write a review for awhile now, obviously. My friends still talk about how much fun they had that day. The crew made my birthday so special and went above and beyond for our group. They have the perfect space for hosting large groups, corporate events or gatherings. I could not recommend them more.
