I love the idea "go cart" speedway and arcade and yes they sells yummy food ! Fun with family or just friends! Yes we need playful hang outs! but it's not for the broke /unemployed! Things add $$$up quick! Okay if you made it this far in my review and reason for 3 stars and not 5 stars... The track was Excellent design 2 levels I had only raced on track in photos below, sorry I didn't capture this track @ Culver City location. I would of loved to have an option to race with less cars next Race,with out those who hit into me as if I was a test dummy . More than 2 times. To choose or have a option race for "new go cart speed racers" being it wasn't busy (in my opinion.) or close to closing hours. Go cart dash camera or helmet cams footage would make it easier to improve customers experience and those that break rules crashing into others on purpose and signaling out racers just for laughs. With race radge crashing into , stopping /snail climb when heading onto 2 level they cut u off and slow while another drives up stays on ur side trapped between guard rail and them for what felt like forever, could of been 1 min. Who knows... Just expressing my opinion to help learn from and move forward sharing my experience There is real Risk involved. Whip lash when hit from side or back when not expected... Left with a" little reminder" I love my Side mirrors while I drive for Real in my vehicle! Understanding it's a gocart that can really pick up speed Read waiver & sign it Behind the wheel+speed maybe 10 to 12 racers at a time , you can only control your decisions , racing safe actions on track. You can ONLY HopeTHE STAFF KNOWS HOW TO TAKE CARE OF SITUATION IF AND WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF GETTING REAR ENDED, OR SLAMMED INTO BY A COUPLE OF YOUNG "ADULTS" WHO ARE IN "THEIR OWN WORLD" LIKE "NO ONE ELSE FUN "MATTERS! ... But I suppose it Could of been a lot worse!, I'm GLAD FOR head socks &helmets - safety seat belts -and shoulder belts-and Having a trained staff to check them. What I witnessed, staff tried to make quick decisions made all difference keeping everyone SAFE! THANK YOU THOSE WORKING THAT EVENING . If I could make an suggestion or share my opinion for growth of company in future ,... Maybe a choice between box to ✔️ (A) to be placed quickly next race and with group of experienced speed racers! Not crashing into you every other lap of cutting you off top speed as you get to a turn for 2nd time! OR (B) a little less experienced behind wheel but still loves the fast pace and quick turns on track like a pro! Even though wait time is little longer for choice ( B) Schedule example choice (A )would be called up to race next (A1 )would be called up to race Next (B1) If 12 laps takes 10 mins to start and finish ( B1) Racers could have a wait time 20 min or every 3rd race as a choice they made choosing to checking box ☑️ (race B1) Different locations might result in different race tracks ! Prices may vary read carefully and fully. ask all questions that you want and understand there's NO SILLY OR DUMB QUESTION! Every Question helps to make this "A JUDGE FREE Race track-Zone!) I'm excited to try again.
I went here for my nephew’s bday party. Tons of fun. I was shaking with adrenaline after the first race. If you like high-speed action with hairpin turns and good metrics sent to you at the end, this place is for you!
I had a great experience at K1 Speed in Culver City. The racing was fun, the facility was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I especially want to recognize Dallas. He was professional, welcoming, and went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time. Dallas had a positive attitude, answered all our questions, and made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about customer service, and Dallas definitely does. Thank you, Dallas, for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend K1 Speed Culver City to anyone looking for a fun day out!
From Karah (maybe spelled Cara?) at the front desk to George Michael on the racetrack, this staff made sure we had a 12/10 experience. This track has two floors and lots of fun turns to learn and develop a strategic approach. We chose to do three races and got the ultimate experience. George Michael was an excellent coach and we will be back for more tips/training, as he offers teaching classes! We didn’t eat any food, but there are options, from snacks to dinner type options. They are waiting for their liquor license (someone please approve this!!) so not adult juice boxes yet….but hopefully soon. We tried going on the weekend but it was so popular there was a wait. We came back during the week and got onto the track super fast! Try out this location - highly recommend!!!
