Great track, smooth cars, plenty of attendants working to make everything go off without a hitch. Probably the best karts I've driven in a while with very little vibration. Was a lot of fun.
Went to the Peppermint Parkway Christmas experience. It was pretty cool lots of good light setups. All the staff was very nice and accommodating. My kid and a bunch of other kids got stuck on a ride for about 10 mins, which seemed to have spooked the staff, so they shut all the kiddie rides down for about 30 mins to double check all of them. There was go carts, zip lines, mini golf, and their new roller coaster the Circuit Breaker, which was amazing! All-in-all it was a great experience and I will definitely go back for the regular season!
Visited COTA Karting in Austin — a fun spot for high-speed go-kart racing. Great for both casual visitors looking for a thrill and competitive racers wanting to push their limits. Definitely a must-try for adrenaline seekers in the Austin area. Safety video is ~2 minutes and the race comes with a helmet rental (but you can bring your own). It is rather pricey for one 10-minute race. The cars are gas and it MATTERS how heavy you are. You will be on track with experienced and inexperienced drivers.
