We were overall very happy with our visit to K1 Speed. It’s a great place for active fun, especially with kids. The track is exciting, the atmosphere is energetic, and the kids always leave full of adrenaline and great memories. We really enjoy coming here, and it’s one of our favorite places for family fun. The only downside was the wait time. We had to wait about an hour before we could start racing. We were told that reservations are only accepted for groups of 8 or more people, so smaller groups have to wait for the next available opening, which can take a while. Other than that, we truly love this place and will definitely keep coming back.

I went right on opening during a weekday, and it was nice and quiet, meaning I had the track to myself, which was good. However, the karts are definitely not suited to any sort of serious karting. The first kart I had died halfway through the session, the kart in the second session had noticeably more power than the replacement kart from the first session. Finally, the kart in the third session had very uneven power delivery, varying in output even on the (short!) straights. Granted, rental karts aren’t going to be perfect, but such variations make any karting beyond very casual driving very difficult here. Secondly, the sessions are very short. I paid $53.99 for 3 “races” using their 3-for-2 offer. This sounds ok, until you realise that a race is 12 laps, and a lap is just under 30 seconds. Your tires are barely warm by the time the session is over! On the bright side, the staff are really friendly and chatty, there were lots of rental helmets and seat inserts, and lots of seating inside the place itself to relax in between “races”.

First time and planning to go back had so much fun eve though the race last 10 minutes is worth it, might take some time the wait list, you can have snack, drink or just sit in the couch for you turn.

This was my son's first time go‑kart racing, and even though the wait was very long for walk-in's (over two hours for the ride and about an hour for food), it was worth it. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and some light entertainment for kids at the onsite arcade to help pass the time. What mattered most was how much fun both the kids and adults had. The staff were kind, focused on safety first, and my son had an absolute blast—for that, I’m truly grateful.
