We’ve been to many K1s here in SoCal over the years. I really like Gardena. If you live in Long Beach, this is closer and way better than the Anaheim location. The track is wild! The food is good! Check out this GIANORMOUS pretzel!! And they serve beer! Came here on NYE at 12. Got in two races, ate some pretzel, had a great time! Would recommend!
Good place to go kart. My nephew loves this place. He's gotten really good.
My nephew's 10th birthday party was held here. Kids really enjoyed the racing. Just be aware that there are a limited number of carts for the younger folks and they had to split up into groups and wait for other adult groups to go in between them so the carts could recharge. Understandable, but unexpected. Made the races take much longer to complete with lots of waiting between. There are arcade games, food and drinks while you wait. The food isn't quick to come out, but they do have adult beverages to soften the blow.
I hosted my daughter’s birthday party a couple years ago vowing to never go back. During the party visit, salt was added to our personal pizza, unprovoked cruelty. I did not share my complaints because they didn’t care. They gave the impression “we don’t want you here” . Today I visited with my family for a fun race and the same vibe. Also we did not get to complete our laps, carts were stopped too often, and my cart completely stopped working at one point. A lot of money spent no hospitality or welcoming energy. The staff sucks, they are unfriendly and unhelpful and they bring the vibe down. I’m done with this location. May you all get it together moving forward.
