Kart racing at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds ended in 2020, after the fair board voted not to renew Davenport Kartway's contract. The track's website and Facebook page have since gone offline. Davenport Speedway, the stock car track on the same fairgrounds, is unaffected and still races.

The track ran from August 2017 on the east parking lot of the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds — an 8-turn asphalt circuit with lap times of around 30 seconds. It was revived by promoter Kevin Williams, a long-time kart engine builder whose father Ken had run weekly races at the same fairgrounds until 1993. It was a competition club: racers brought their own karts and ran to National Karting Alliance rules.
