Very disappointed. Saw several places say the prices were reasonable at $6 per ride and $10 for 4 rides. That certainly was not what we experienced. We drove all the way from Madison because the kids wanted their first go-kart experience and the multi ride discount seemed inviting. Instead we got someone at the ticket counter who said there was no discount, seemed uninterested in helping us, and said it was $7/person, take it or leave it. The tracks were mid-range. 3 rounds per person seemed fair for an entry level go-kart. But for the price and the coldness of the person at the ticket booth, it was a less than pleasant experience and we just did one ride with all 4 kids and left. Could have been a much better experience, but it was not to be. Disappointed.
I took my 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter here for a family vacation. My son and I paid to be drivers and my son wasn’t even able to leave the start of the go kart track because the go kart wasn’t working properly. They then gave him another go kart after I had already been around the track once and that go kart had no brakes and wasn’t working properly either. We ended up just getting off the go karts early because we couldn’t even ride together. For a family friendly activity, I would strongly suggest going elsewhere. After I kindly confronted the staff, they informed us that they couldn’t reimburse us for the issues with the go karts my son was given to drive. As far as the actual track, we loved it! We wish they would have had updated and well maintained go karts. So unfortunate. Well maintained or updated go karts would make this place SO much better!
Every time we come it’s an unforgettable experience. Often times, people go full speed into each other at the end of the race, because they don’t know what brakes are. One time, it was raining hard so no one could get up the hill and everyone got pushed over. For some reason, the staff sent people out for a 2nd lap. Most recently, someone was driving backwards on the track. Completely unsafe and the staff are incompetent, but it makes it fun.
Can’t say too much about them. They’re go karts. They don’t have seatbelts (which is fine but a heads up for ones with littles). For 7$ you go around the track 3 times, so that price stays pretty good. When my friends & I went we were the only three in the line so that was nice, not crowded for us!
