Go early to avoid the line. I was there at 1230 and like was minimal. The go kart experience was ok. It was just too slow in my opinion especially if you have 2 person on the kart. Best to just ride alone. You can't buy ticket in advance so just go early.
The whole experience was around 30 minutes when I went. (Mid April on a Sunday afternoon) Including getting into the line, picking the right size helmet, getting into the go karts and strapping up. The “race” itself was around 5 minutes and was around 3 laps around the track. The employees were extremely friendly and let me get out early at the end of lap two where an employee finished my last lap of the race for me. It was a fun experience and was around $15 for the driver and only an extra $5 per the passenger.
It was my first time go-karting and I had a superb time. I went twice in a row and for some reason the 2nd time was a bit longer than the 1st. Both times were CAD $14 and you’re able to pay with both cash and card. You’ve got to find your helmet yourself while your in line (by sizes) and make sure it’s tight enough on your head. They’ve got track rules and restricitons on big signs all around for you to read beforehand too. Quite thrilling experience and safety is quite good. Overall, extremely easy process paying, easy process finding helmet, waiting to get in, and actually in the go-kart experience. Definitely one of the best things to do in the area.
I think you can enjoy it at an affordable price. Two-seater seats are also possible, so I think it's good to bring children. It may be crowded on a regular basis.
