This past week, we were proud to attend and support @bmwccaclubracing at @njmotorsportspark as part of our continued commitment to BMW Club Racing for more than 25 years. Congratulations to all of this weekend’s podium finishers and competitors who put on an outstanding show throughout the event. 👏🏆 One of the most meaningful moments of the weekend came when our buddy Ross Karlin presented a $5,000 donation check to Claudine Tantillo, Principal of the Westlake School. Through the dedication and generosity of the New Jersey BMW CCA Chapter, more than $200,000 has been donated to the Westlake School over the years, helping make a lasting impact on the lives of students and families. Claudine was also presented with the Spirit of BMW Club Racing flag — a special recognition of the partnership and support shared between these incredible organizations. ❤️ We’re honored to be part of a community that not only loves racing but also gives back in such a meaningful way.
I was genuinely disappointed with my experience at NJMP. Safety should always be the top priority, and unfortunately that was not my experience. Before my race even began, I noticed my go-kart had a flat tire and immediately requested a different kart. Equipment should be thoroughly inspected before riders begin to race and something as obvious as a flat tire should never make it through a safety check which means they aren’t checking the go-karts. In addition, the track operations felt disorganized. Race groups were not being called consistently, which resulted in confusion and unnecessary delays. After driving nearly three hours to visit the facility, it was incredibly frustrating to miss the opportunity to race because of equipment issues that could have been prevented. The staff responsible for running the track appeared overworked, overwhelmed, and unhappy. While I understand that working in the heat is challenging, customer safety and clear communication should never suffer as a result. The operation seemed to lack experienced supervision, and there didn’t appear to be enough oversight to ensure everything ran efficiently. The grounds and facility itself is very nice and has a lot of potential, but the equipment clearly needs better maintenance, and the overall operation could benefit from stronger management and more attention to safety, organization, and customer experience. I sincerely hope NJMP addresses these concerns, because with proper maintenance, better communication, and improved supervision, this could be an outstanding place to race.
Went here to watch my nephew in a few races and had a great day. We were at the lightning track and had a good viewpoint of a few sections of the track. The races were competitive and fun to watch. I will definitely be going back in the future.
I was here for Xtreme Experience driving. It's a very enjoyable track, with lots of parking, clean bathrooms, and a restaurant on the property. I would definitely attend other events here!
