So fun! Had a wonderful experience at K1 - they have kids carts and adult carts. Very clean and you can even get lunch there! Pro tip - go during the week for a short wait!

They have a bar, with a 2 drink limit. Which I find fun and responsible. Staff is fun and informative! Our kids were allowed to leave and wait elsewhere cause we did come on a weekend so that made our wait a while.

The electric carts are pretty quick, with no exhaust fumes. This is my first time here and I haven't raced in 10 years. The acceleration is great but capped. There's an auto break and accelerator lock out in various turns, so if your passing strategy is late breaking, trail breaking, or cutting in just know that you can't use all your tools. If you hoped to make it up by flatting the chicane, you can't because you will either hit a speed cap an acceleration cap or some auto braking (I think there's some combination but you can feel the engine cut off/ramp down). So probably really great for kids and people who can't follow the rules, but this isn't racing (on one random track day with newbies). I prefer to lose on my own merits. Still pretty fun for everyone else, not the worst forearm workout. But I probably won't be back. I'm sure the electronic nanny really saves on Kart and track wear, making the business easier to run accessibly, and I hope it gets kids into motorsports, but for an old and slow amateur with experience - hated it. +1 star because the kids had a great time (other wise this is a two star experience) and you can have a beer or margarita while you lament how terrible you are. No "next on deck" board that I could easily see.

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly!! Definitely recommend especially if you are serious about racing!! Wait time can depend on how many people are there but usually less then 10 minutes. It’s a favorite past time for myself. But beware, it can be a little pricey depending on how many races you want. Check out the website for prices because it can end up being not as cheap of a night out as you thought for a date night. I tend to go weekly so getting one of the bundle packs is definitely worth it!! The true racing experience in the their elite Formula 1 car simulator is also amazing. Pricey but worth it for a 1 time experience. Definitely recommend the 1 hour play vs. the 30 minute play like I did and definitely worth the money!!
