This place is awesome. We have been waiting to come check it out and my Sons 21st birthday was a perfect excuse. We race at K1 Speed all the time and I have raced in the K1 GP for a few years. Each place has its own place for different people but for us we will probably never go to a K1 Speed again after coming here. For kids, beginners, parties and to be indoors when it's hot and cold K1 Speed is awesome. But K1 Circuit is a whole different beast. Honestly the difference between Mulligans and K1 Speed is the same difference between K1 Speed and K1 Circuit. And for 40 bucks more if you buy the 3 race package it's just a no brainer. You do also have to pay for the license and that's a bump in price but I still say it's worth it. If you want to have a cart that you really get a workout driving come and check it out. The track and building is very nice and well laid out. The staff was friendly and the food was kinda expensive but convenient and good. I would say that the majority of arive and drive people cant/won't even push these carts to 100%. If you like speed and racing come check this place out and compare it to K1 Speed for yourself.

My son Race and I did a father–son go-kart day at K1 Speed Winchester, and it was an absolute blast from start to finish. The outdoor track is incredibly realistic—fast, technical, and genuinely exhilarating. It feels like real racing, not just go-karts. Every lap was exciting, and the layout keeps both kids and adults fully engaged. You can push your limits while still feeling safe, which is the perfect balance. The karts are top-notch—powerful, smooth, and clearly well maintained. You can tell they take pride in their equipment and the overall experience. The staff was friendly, professional, and made everything easy and fun, especially for a first-time father–son race day. Most importantly, it was an unforgettable bonding experience with my son. Seeing his excitement, competitiveness, and pure joy out on the track made the day priceless. If you’re looking for high-quality racing, real thrills, and memories you’ll talk about long after the helmets come off, K1 Speed Winchester delivers in every way. We’ll definitely be back. 🏁🔥

K1 Circuit is an offshoot of K1 Speed with two completely separate business models, so do not confuse the older gas-powered Whiteland, Indiana track with the brand-new Winchester, California location which uses OTL E-Pro electric karts for adults and Cadet X3 karts for ages 7–12. At the CA location, you only get access to either the North or South track layouts depending on how busy it is. You can pre-schedule Arrive & Drive races online, but only on weekdays due to volatile weekend demand. Furthermore, the corporate website fails to explain their strict speed licensing system. All new drivers start at Bronze speed and must complete at least 5 races before upgrading to a Silver License, which is also the only way to join their leagues. Fortunately, you only pay the price difference when upgrading your license tier (e.g., paying a $50 difference to turn your $50 Bronze license into a $100 Silver license, and the same goes for Gold and Pro). However, track staff confirmed you cannot actually upgrade to Gold or Pro speed as a standard customer right now because K1 is still figuring out insurance logistics for the public handling over 30 horsepower of pure, instant electric torque. Additionally, corporate claims speeds of 80+ MPH, but the actual maximum clocked speed on the track is 68 MPH. Finally, understand the difference between Arrive & Drive (using their rental karts) and Open Practice (bringing your own kart to use on the full Pro layout). As an Arrive & Drive rental customer, the only way you are allowed to drive on the full Pro track layout is to either join their racing league or sign up for their monthly track classes.
