The young man at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. I am a 60 year old who is doing 60 new things this year and go-cart racing was on the agenda. My daughter and I had a blast.

Our visit to K1 on a Saturday afternoon in late December around 3:30pm was overall very good. We didn't realize how long a wait there could be, and for two of us (one junior racer and one adult) we had a wait time of an hour and 40 minutes before our races once we paid for our races. And there's not much nearby, so you sit and watch other races and they have some arcade games, but really very few game opens and all are very over-priced. There's also a cafe to order food and drinks, and the food was reasonably good as we tried everything at the K1 center to pass the time. Once it was out race time, it was quite efficient with quick instructions and getting into assigned cars. The races are terrifically fun, and I thought the young-looking people running the track did and exceptional job in keeping people safe (the most important) and having fun. Their system for assigning races also did a good job of coordinating so that I could do an adult race, then my junior racer could do a junior race, and because he is tall enough, we then got to race together in an adult race then we went home, and it was around 6:30pm. All-in-all, if there's a way to check in early to avoid the wait, I'd recommend that. Otherwise it was a fun family experience, and we'll likely be back.

Long wait time but besides that this was the best experience ever, good place to visit with your kids and they sort by adults and kids

Nice place. The attendants did a great job in getting us prepared for the ride. There were not so many people there at that time so it was more fun and less crowded. I'd recommend K1 speed to anyone looking to enjoy something fun, breathtaking, and electrifying. It's worth every dime!

This was my first time ever going to an indoor go-kart track, and my visit to K1 Speed on Bradshaw was a really positive experience overall. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this place is designed for people who may have never done this before. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff did a good job explaining everything step by step — how the races work, what to expect on the track, and the basic safety rules. As a first-timer, that made a big difference and helped take away any nervousness. The safety briefing was clear and easy to understand without being overwhelming. They explained flags, passing rules, and what to do if you spin out or slow down. Nothing felt rushed, and the staff made sure everyone was paying attention before moving on. You could tell they’re used to dealing with beginners and families. The electric go-karts were a surprise in a good way. For someone new, they feel fast but controlled. Acceleration is smooth, braking is responsive, and you don’t have to worry about fumes or loud engines since they’re electric. After a lap or two, it becomes much easier to get comfortable and start enjoying the race instead of just figuring out the kart. The track layout is also beginner-friendly while still being exciting. There are tighter turns that make you slow down and learn control, mixed with faster sections that let you feel some speed. You don’t need racing experience to have fun, but there’s still enough challenge to keep it interesting. Between races, the lap timing system is really cool, especially for first-timers. Being able to see your lap times and how you improved during the race makes it more engaging and gives you something to focus on besides just driving. The lobby and arcade area are nice places to relax, especially if you’re waiting with friends or family. The facility itself was clean and well maintained. Helmets were in good condition, staff helped with sizing if needed, and everything felt organized. Even when it was busy, things ran smoothly. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5: It can be a bit expensive, especially if you want to do multiple races Wait times can be longer during busy hours Once you get comfortable, you may wish the karts went just a little faster That said, for a first-time experience, those aren’t deal breakers. The environment feels safe, professional, and welcoming, which is exactly what you want if you’ve never done go-kart racing before. Overall, this is an excellent place for first-timers, whether you’re going with friends, on a date, or with family. It’s fun, well run, and a great introduction to indoor karting. I’d definitely come back now that I know what to expect.
