We came here for our company holiday party. There was 16 of us. They made sure everything was ready for us when we arrived from Santa Barbara. The staff was so nice and helpful. The only thing I would make any complaints about was the food quality but also we did throw in a huge amount of food all at once, and it might have crushed the kitchen Overall really fun time and everybody in the group is so fired up for it. Most people in my group are over the age of 27 ranging to like 55 and we still had a blast. The go karts definitely go fast and two people in our group struggled from a slight motion sickness. You also leave with a sore body. 😂 It’s like the real deal Definitely recommend it

K1 Speed in Newbury Park can be a really fun spot if you hit it at the right time, but timing is everything here. My biggest issue is how crowded it gets on the weekends. The place is packed, and the wait times can get painfully long, which takes a lot of the fun out of it. You end up spending more time waiting around than actually racing. Another downside is that the go-karts aren’t very consistent. Some clearly perform better than others, which makes it a little frustrating when you’re trying to have a fair race and you happen to get stuck in a slower kart. That said, my best advice is to go on a weeknight. It’s way less busy, the flow is smoother, and you’ll have a much better overall experience. When it’s not overcrowded, it’s a blast. Overall, it’s a cool place with a lot of potential—just plan your visit wisely.

The team at the facility was great. The only dissatisfaction was with the ordering of food for the event. I had preordered our selection and when we got there the actual food that was ordered was not available, then right before the food was to be served again another piece of the order was not available. They tried to substitute the food as best as they could. But the chicken sliders were dry and basically just the chicken strip cut into pieces and placed into a bun. Very disappointing.

When I first got to K1 Speed, I was expecting way more. Instead I was greeted with a hot temperature inside with no air conditioning, poor ambiance in the track area, and inflated prices with fees. $28.95 x 4 =$115.80 ($125 w/ tax.) I was charged $152. Not sure why. Additionally, they let kids play at the same time as adults; which is fine… but some were going too slow which ruins the fun for everyone. I think there could be some improvements, and I’m sorry to leave 3 stars, I typically don’t leave bad reviews.
