We have raced all over and this facility is on another level! Super wide for passing, top of the line karts, and the track is long and technical. You must go and try this place out.

Amazing track, beautiful facility. The karts are brand new and the Pro karts go pretty fast. The staff are also super friendly. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you haven’t. The membership is worth it and definitely a MUST if you go there often.

Brand new indoor/partial outdoor rental go-kart track in Peekskill. Was lucky enough to go to Opening day. The start up process is easy, you can create an account at location or do it prior online via the website or mobile app. After that go to the front desk and pay for your races. If you sign up for the membership there's a slight discount on each race you buy. Membership is annually. Everything is included from full face helmet to neck brace, there's adult karts, double karts (for parents with kids), and gas karts. Your stats are tracked to your account and if you have the mobile app they upload there as well. The indoor course is great with several straight ways and lots of turns. Staff was friendly as well! Everyone knew how to drive which was a lucky bonus. Definitely come check it out, it is one of the better karting experiences I've had. Feedback: 1) Have racers be assigned to kart numbers prior, so we can sit at our kart number and be ready to go, rather than sit down and then be asked our driver names to assign it to the kart - just to speed up the process. Would also be cool if users with faster lap times could auto start pole positions to avoid having to pass at the start 2) More membership tiers, I would really love an unlimited racing membership even if it has a daily limit of x amount of races before I had to pay or wait a day. One downside in my opinion of paying per race is on the chance you get an unfun race (a lot of yellow flags) it sours the experience and makes you feel like you wasted your money. This didn't happen here but it does happen at rental karts on crowded days. An unlimited membership alleviates the frustration because you can just go, ah. Next race will be better or maybe tomorrow. Without feeling like you're spending hard earned money to not have the proper experience. Outside of that, I am definitely coming back. Ask the front desk about qualifying for a pro account as well if you're competitive which let's you sign up for pro races in the future (faster go karts)! They also will have league races for those interested in competing. Overall great place and glad to have one so local. Thanks again HQ team!

The Good • Easy check-in process and everything was straightforward. • Friendly, welcoming staff. • Clean, well-maintained facility (restrooms/common areas looked taken care of). • Track setup/layout was fun and the environment felt organized. • Overall a good concept and a place with a lot of potential. Constructive Criticism • Kart performance felt inconsistent during our heat. • My kart felt a bit slow compared to others on track. • Throttle response didn’t feel as responsive as expected for an electric kart, especially coming out of corners. • I noticed a “boost” option on the display, but it was greyed out during our session, so I wasn’t sure if it was disabled or only available under certain settings. • Because of the speed/throttle inconsistency, it didn’t feel like a true even “racing” experience. Overall • I had a good time and the facility itself is great, but the kart performance took away from the experience. I’m leaving 3 stars because I’d come back, but I’d really hope the karts feel more consistent next time.

HQ Racing in Peekskill is easily one of the best go kart experiences I have had in New York. From the moment you walk in the staff makes you feel welcome and genuinely excited to race. The facility is clean, well organized, and professionally run. The track layout is challenging in all the right ways. It rewards smooth throttle control, good braking technique, and consistency rather than just raw speed. The karts are well maintained and feel far better than typical rental setups. You can tell they take safety seriously while still letting drivers push their limits. What really stands out is the atmosphere. Everyone from first time racers to serious competitors is treated with respect and encouraged to improve. The staff is always willing to give tips and answer questions, which makes a huge difference if you want to get faster. If you are anywhere near Peekskill and love racing or just want an adrenaline packed activity with friends, HQ Racing is absolutely worth the trip. I will definitely be back.
